Butterfly Kids Yoga is committed to providing an engaging, play based Yoga program which incorporates games, mindfulness and yoga asanas to children of all ages.
By integrating yoga into children's lives, children are able to gain valuable skills and experiences that contribute to their overall well-being and development.
By exercising the mind, the heart and the body through movement and mindfulness, children are able to learn the life long skills needed to support positive mental health for today and well into the future. Learning how to regulate emotions, find clarity, build confidence as well as building strength and balance.
Drawing on many years experience as a qualified Early Childhood Educator, a Children's Yoga Teacher, in addition to practicing yoga myself for over 20 years, my hope is to provide children the benefits of yoga, for children to draw on forever.
All whilst having FUN along the way!
- Angela
Yoga games can significantly boost children's imaginative play skills, which are crucial during their formative years. The human body, especially in young children, thrives on movement. As a mother of two, I understand the importance of giving children the opportunity and environment to develop and learn through play.
